Mission
The mission of Redeemer Church is “that in everything Christ might be preeminent” (Colossians 1:18).
In effect, we want to keep the gospel of Jesus Christ clear and central to all that we say, all that we are and all that we do. To carry out this mission we desire to make disciples that consider, treasure and proclaim Jesus Christ as Redeemer. The Consider-Treasure-Proclaim framework is essential to our disciple-making process:
We want people to consider Jesus Christ as Redeemer; who he is and what he has done
We want people to treasure Jesus Christ as their Redeemer through faith.
We want people to proclaim Jesus Christ as Redeemer, the only sure way of salvation.
We will labor to this end in order to bring glory to Christ in our city. Our only hope is found in Jesus Christ…our only aim is to make Him known in Bakersfield, the San Joaquin Valley and throughout the globe.
